Trengo
The Connecta Trengo App connects Trengo with Odoo and helps support or sales teams create and manage Odoo customer data directly from a Trengo ticket. The app shows relevant Odoo customer information inside Trengo and allows users to create customers, delivery addresses and sales orders without leaving the conversation.
The goal of the app is to reduce manual work, avoid duplicate data entry and make sure that customer requests from Trengo can quickly be processed in Odoo.
What is synced or created
The app can create and update the following data in Odoo from Trengo:
Customer / Company data
When no existing Odoo customer is found, the user can create a new company directly from the Trengo sidebar.
Synced fields include:
Company name
Email address
Phone number
Street
ZIP / Postal code
City
Country
VAT / Tax number
Website
The new customer is created as an Odoo company.
Delivery addresses
If the Trengo contact belongs to an existing company, the user can create a new delivery address under that company.
Synced fields include:
Parent company
Delivery contact / address name
Email address
Phone number
Street
ZIP / Postal code
City
Country
The delivery address is created as a delivery contact under the selected company in Odoo.
Existing customer data
When a Trengo ticket is opened, the app searches Odoo for an existing customer based on the Trengo contact information.
The app can match customers using:
Email address
Phone number
If a customer is found, the app displays the customer information inside Trengo.
Customer updates
From the Trengo sidebar, users can update basic Odoo customer data.
Editable fields include:
Name
Email
Phone
Mobile
Street
ZIP / Postal code
City
VAT / Tax number
Internal note
The changes are written directly back to the Odoo contact.
Sales orders
The app allows users to create an Odoo sales order directly from Trengo.
The sales order includes:
Customer
Invoice address
Delivery address
Product
Quantity
Delivery date
Notes
The selected product is added as a sales order line in Odoo. Notes entered in the Trengo widget are posted in the chatter of the created sales order.
After creation, the app returns the created Odoo sales order number to the user.

Application explanation
When a Trengo ticket is opened, the Connecta Trengo App retrieves the ticket contact details and searches for a matching customer in Odoo. If a matching customer is found, the app displays the customer card in the Trengo sidebar.
From this card, the user can review customer information, open the customer directly in Odoo, edit customer details and create a new sales order.
If multiple Odoo contacts match the Trengo contact, the user can select the correct customer from a dropdown. The available delivery addresses and products are then shown based on the selected customer.
If no customer is found, the user has two options:
Create a new company in Odoo
Link the Trengo contact to an existing company as a delivery address
This makes it possible to process both new customers and existing customers with new delivery locations directly from Trengo.
The product selection can be filtered from the Connecta settings, so only relevant products are shown in the Trengo sales order form. This prevents users from selecting incorrect products and keeps the order process simple.
The app creates the sales order in Odoo using the selected customer, delivery address, product, quantity and delivery date. After the order is created, the app confirms the order number back to the Trengo user and writes any notes to the Odoo chatter.
