Char
The Char display type is used to store short text values within a Settings Variable. It is ideal for information such as names, labels, identifiers, codes, or other single-line text entries. After selecting Char as the display type, specify the default text that should be assigned to the variable when it is first initialized.
Configure the following settings as required:

Display Type – Select Char to configure the Settings Variable as a text-based value.
- Default Char – Enter the default text that should be assigned to the variable when it is initialized. This value will be used unless it is later modified through a Settings Panel or Flow.
